I've made a lot of New Years resolutions in my time, perhaps more than I'd like to remember! But my favorite resolution was when I decided to start creating my life consciously rather than unconsciously.
You might be thinking that you are creating your life consciously. But, if I asked you to tell me what your intent is for this year, chances are you wouldn't be able to answer my question at first. Perhaps you would need to think about it for a while. But, while I was waiting for your answer, life would be moving on and the lack of clarity in your mind would be what you would be creating in your life.
Conflicting beliefs that exist in the mind create conflicting outcomes in life. If you want to create something exciting in your life, but you don't believe that you can do it, what are you putting out there? The universe works on the basis of action-reaction. If your action is the creation of confusing or conflicting thought-forms then the reaction of life will be confusing or conflicting situations within your dream.
Most of us are creating the dream of our life from our sub-conscious mind. We don't have a conscious purpose because we are often afraid that life will disappoint us if we do. And we don't want to feel the pain that could result from the disappointment. It's simply better not to ask. Instead, rather than creating consciously, we go through life reacting to whatever is happening to us in the moment. To me this is not creating with clarity or purpose, but instead floating through life dodging whatever comes our way,5854 Ugg Classic Mini Grey Boots. It is a reactionary way of living and it has a way of causing us to feel like we are victims of life rather than the creators of life.

I would like to challenge you to create consciously in this new year. Take some time to sit and dream about the upcoming year. This is one way of practicing the Toltec technique of Dreaming. Murano jewellery has been a very well kept secret as to its production. It has been handmade on the island of Murano for centuries and the art of making this stunning glass has been passed down from father to son.
This glass and the beautiful Murano pendants and the Murano jewellery reminds me of a holiday that I spent in Italy with a man that was very special in my life. I was bought a Murano pendant in the shape of a heart and was the most romantic gift that I have ever received. The colours on the Murano pendant melted together on top of the foiled glass so the heart pendant with the shiny red colours made the perfect romantic gift. I can say that this romantic gift is still one of my most treasured pieces in my jewellery box.
I was amazed on this holiday to see so much of this Murano jewellery on show in the shops. There were amazing pieces of jewellery that had been created with this stunning glass. Earrings are made in ever shade and colour that you can think of. Cabochon Murano beads set in gold are perfect presents but none of them could match my romantic gift,5854 Ugg Classic Mini Grey Boots.

As well as the Murano pendants and the Muarno jewellery this beautiful glass is used to create lampshades that shine and shimmer when they are turned on. There are many necklaces and Murano pendants that hang from silk ribbons in colours that compliment the pendant. The ribbon on the heart shaped Muarno pendant that was given to me as my romantic gift was a bright red colour which is the colour of passion.

I am determined to stand above the rest
Women Stop Wearing Black, Please! by Gina Novelle
Why am I making this statement? As I was glancing through two business magazines this morning, I noticed a trend gone horribly wrong. Every woman in each of the business photos were all wearing black. As I reached for my little black computer to write this protest, I accidentally caught a peek of my own closet where a child left the door open while searching for black shoes to borrow. Oh my, all I see is black, with a dotting of white, and maybe a tiny bit of red. White of course is for the white blouses one wears with black. Red was introduced two years ago to show my college spirit at the institution where I teach computer classes.
So how did this happen? Somewhere in my business life, black was introduced to women so they could gain supremacy in business. However, all my clothing acquired black dominance. My children had mentioned it a few times, that I must really like black, but since "goth" was in; they didn't complain. I need to make a stand and de-black my closet. Women, if it is black - take it back!
It happened without notice, or consciousness. Now that I am aware, I have learned that all the cute clothes are in, you guessed it, black! Okay, it is time to rally the world of businesswomen to stand up and demand we are diverse in business talent and clothing color. Oh, I can hear it now. Gina, black goes with everything. Gina, black makes me look thinner. Gina, black is power. I say black is diluted power because every women in business is now wearing black.
Let us look at the other power colors. While de-blacking my closet, I came upon a dark royal purple,5854 Ugg Classic Mini Grey Boots. Then I discovered a rich wine burgundy. I continued past all the black pin striped articles, black skirts, and that gorgeous black pant suit with the cream-colored collar. That's right I went directly for the dark teal blouse. Then I shopped for hours for any article of clothing that would remotely blend with the stunning dark teal blouse. I finally found it! Yes, that gorgeous black pant suit I passed up earlier. De-blacking my closet may be harder than I thought. Nevertheless, I am determined to stand above the rest, or at least standout in my next business photo.
